Kai's right Arm is a traditional Polynesian tattoo sleeve, weavingSymbols of protection and storytelling into the design. Tribal tattoo designs can also be found on her Lower stomach and hips as well as down her legs. She also has her home state Hawaii's state flower, the hibiscus, tattooed near her right Shoulder. Kai's right Foot is covered in tattoos of the Hawaiian islands. On the bottom of the Back, she has her lastName, "Kai". Kai also has tattooed the Words "Love" and "Courage" in Japanese on her Back. Her left Shoulder has the astrological Symbol for Gemini, her astrological sign. She also tattooed three Stars on the Back of her neck. Star tattoos can represent hope, light or truth. On the right side of her rib cage is her favorite of all of her tattoos. It is a song lyric that she wrote herself. It reads "Appreciate the moment, the most precious treasure on earth is my Heart, when I share it with you, protect it as if it were your own". Sheexplains "it's a reminder that I'm a strong person and I know and a lot of people around me know I'm a Good person." Kai hasn't completed her tattoo collection yet. She plans on adding others, including "Trust" and "Respect" on her wrist.
Natasha Kanani Janine Kai (born May 22, 1983) is an American soccer player. She was recently Honored in the 2008 Beijing Olympics as a member of the United StatesWomen's national soccer team and won a Gold medal. As a high school soccer player, her tough demeanor and slick playing style garnered her attention in a Football obsessed hometown. She joined the national team in 2006 and got off to a rocky Start, but ended up becoming one of the most valued players on the team. Kai is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints as well as a lesbian.
