Stern claimed to be the father of the baby and Birkhead challenged his paternity in a televised custody battle. Two months later, a Bahamian court ruled that DNA testing proved that Birkhead is the biological father. Although Birkhead has had a confirmed sexual relationship with Anna Nicole Smith, there is much speculation about his sexuality. Insiders said that even Smith thought Birkhead was gay and viewed him only as a sperm donor. Still, Birkhead considers Smith as the love of his life even if their relationship was rocky. "If I ever got mad at Anna - if I was at the beach or something, I'd wear surf shorts and I'd pull them up a little bit. She'd say What are you doing trying to hide me back there?' It's crazy.
