In Memory of Tattoos

When you hear the phrase “in memory of,” the thought of people who have lost a life may instantly spring to mind. These words are used when there is a tribute or a memorial in place for another person due to a fatality. This phrase is commonly used in the military because of the numerous lives that have been lost in battle. It’s common to see a person who may have served in the military or even a civilian have a tattoo that has the phrase in memory of a certain person. This is typically followed by the name of the deceased and the date of birth listed, as well. Since both male and females serve in the military, it’s common for both genders to get this tattoo to honor a deceased individual.
