Yellow Ribbon Tattoos

The yellow ribbon is symbolic to most people of a loved one coming home from some branch of the army. It’s frequently tied around a tree to honor an individual who has gone to war and has survived to return home to loved ones. The armor branch of the United States Army chooses the color yellow to represent this group of individuals. There is even a song called, “Tie a Ribbon Round the Old Oak Tree,” that is known by most residents of the United States. A yellow ribbon tattoo is commonly chosen by individuals who may have served in this organization to honor and protect this country. Some of the most popular tattoo designs in this category include the yellow ribbon with the name of the individual who served in the army added to the ribbon. It’s also symbolic for civilians to wear to send the message of supporting the troops. This tattoo design is common for both men and women to obtain.
